The Valencian Coast stretches
along a province with two clearly distinct landscapes: the coast and the
mountains.
On the coast lay the prosperous districts that enjoy
the fabulous fertile plains, with irrigated crops that form an evergreen mosaic
all year round. On the other hand, behind an area of gently sloping foothills in
which dry and light-irrigation farming are characteristic, lies the wild, almost
unknown inland; the mountainous arch of the Valencia mountain range, cut here
and there by its impressive river canyons, stands in a setting dotted with vast
pine forests where caves and prehistoric shelters with many cave paintings lie
hidden. The low, sandy coastline of shallow waters has only one outstanding
geographical feature: Cape Cullera. This is the point where the mountains reach
the sea. A barrier of dunes flanks the beaches, as well as some marshy areas and
freshwater pools, such as the swamps of Puig and Jaraco (Xeraco), and above all,
the lagoon of Valencia. This coastline is reached by four rivers that begin
their journey in the mountains: Palancia, Turia, Júcar (Xúquer) and Serpis.
These meander down to the coastline where they enter the sea, brimming with
marine traffic in and around the ports of Sagunto, Valencia and Gandía. There we
find modern sailing facilities for sports vessels and lively tourist centres,
from where travellers will have the chance to discover the beauty of the
highlands, the mountain spas, camping areas, Iberian and Roman towns, emblazoned
houses, castles and towers
Bordering on the province
of Alicante, Oliva is the second most important town in the region
of La Safor (22'000 i.)
It boasts 10 kilometres of clean beaches and shallow waters, backed
almost in their entirety by dunes which separate the orange groves
from the sea. In town, which is well-preserved, the Christian
village and the Moorish suburb stand out. Noteworthy monuments
include the Archpriestal Palace, the convent of Rebollet, the “Torre
de Comare” – from the 5th and 6th centuries-, San Roque –from the
18th and 19th centuries- and the ruins of the castle of Santa Ana.
Also worth a visit are the house of Gregorio Mayans and the
ancestral homes from the 17th to the 19th centuries on Calle Tamarit.
The liveliest areas are around the beaches of Daimús, Miramar and
Guardamar. The yacht club and the marina provide the opportunity to
do water sports such as windsurfing. There are a great many campsite
spaces, which are popular with those who like river fishing and
hiking in the mountains. The town also has an 18-hole golf course.
Worth a separate mention is the Pego-Oliva Fen Nature Reserve, an
area of wetlands with abundant indigenous animals and plants of
great ecological value
Sports entertainment:
tennis and soccer, swimming pools outdoor (5 km) and covered (3 km),
rental of bicycles and surfboards, the marina (Oliva Playa-6km),
horseback riding, go-kart, discos near Oliva, 18 holes of golf at
Oliva Nova (10 km) and the Sella near Denia (25 km).
Shopping: Bars, restaurants, pizzerias, fast food, free
buffets, cafeterias, shops, cinemas, shopping malls nearby (with
openings in the evening all year / Many super markets such as
Mercadona, Consum, Erosky, Mas y Mas , Intermarché, Lidl, Aldi,
Carrefour nearby.
Transport: 2 international airports in Alicante (110km) and
Valencia (80km) / bus stations in Oliva (2 km) and Oliva-Playa (5
km) / Gare railway in Gandia (12KM) / Metro Valencia (75km) / Ports
and ferry in Denia (25km) and Valencia 75km / Stations Taxis in
Oliva (2KM) / Car hire in Gandia (12 KM).

lovely and panoramic sight on all the coast between Valencia and Denia. Illuminated
swimming pool of 9X5 m full southern with aera for children. Many terraces with long
chairs, shower and barbecue. Large private carpark with shelter for 4 cars with 2
entrances (north and south), arborised garden (1800 m2) . The owner occupies in season an
appendix for the guarding and the service of maintenance of the swimming pool. Restoring
with French and Spanish kitchen (700 m), Bus stop and taxi in center of Oliva at 3 km

shaded terraces are at your disposal with the circumference the
villa. It is one of principal the quality of this residence with its
exceptional sight.

From September to June, 10 months per
year, the capacity of reception is limited to 11 people. The use of
the 3 sofas is authorized only in exceptional circumstances. This
restriction is justified by the fact that the many external terraces
are much used in low season and that of this fact the stays should
not be encumbered by open sofas. This measurement is necessary to
improve comfort of our hosts in the event of bad weather.
